The little things mean everything

Terms of use

Early-access draft. The full terms, business identity and required Australian consumer notices need review before public launch. These notes describe the current testing experience.

Using The Wish Room

The Wish Room helps organisers collect and share messages and media contributed by invited participants. Organisers are responsible for sharing invitation and recipient links with the appropriate people.

Your content

Only submit material that you have the right to share. Do not upload unlawful, threatening, harassing, exploitative or privacy-invasive content. Contributors should obtain permission before including someone else's sensitive information or images.

Surprise rooms

New rooms default to surprise-first visibility, which hides contribution contents from organiser views. People who have access to the final recipient link may still view the gift. This product is not intended to provide end-to-end encrypted messaging.

Moderation

Recipients can report contributions, and organisers can hide or restore submissions. A reported item may be hidden immediately while it is assessed. Content that has already been viewed or saved by others cannot necessarily be retrieved.

Gift access and storage

Newly revealed Wish Rooms have an initial 30-day online viewing period. Existing early-access rooms may retain longer access. Optional six- and twelve-month extensions are being tested. An expired room is not automatically deleted; a final retention, download and deletion policy will be published before public launch.

Testing and payments

During early access, Stripe checkout operates in test mode. No real card payment is collected through this test checkout. A proposed room upgrade is A$14.99 for more than ten contributions to one room. An optional complete keepsake ZIP download is A$4.99, and a 12-month access extension includes the keepsake download. These are currently test-mode features, not live purchases. Final live pricing and applicable consumer terms will be displayed before real payments are enabled.

Before public launch

Additional sections covering support contacts, refunds, cancellation, data retention, governing terms and applicable Australian Consumer Law rights will be finalised. Nothing here is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
